My chicken is trying to bury itself alive. Recently we noticed a hole in the backyard. Not thinking anything of it we refilled it. Yesturday, I noticed my chicken laying on its side and spinning in circles. Using one leg to dig its making a very large hole in my lawn. Then it covers itself with dirt by flapping its wings. It continued to do this until the hole was as round as my chicken and about 4-5 inches deep. Im new at chickens, not sure whats going on. Please help.
