I am a single mom who lost her job and started attending culinary school. I am still unemployed but am starting a personal chef business. I live in the city but am very much interested in "country" pursuits--organic and heirloom gardening, canning and preserving food, self-sufficiency. I am very passionate about healthy, sustainable food. I would rather read than almost anything else in the world and I love to knit. I want to spin my own yarn.
