Retired and originally from Maine, where I grew up with chickens and turkeys and other livestock. When I lived in Colorado I had 6 chickens: 3 Rhode Island Reds, and 3 Australops (spelling?). My landlady just gave me permission to have chickens and I have the perfect place for them. I am on a fixed income so I am looking for making a coop and yard out of second hand materials. WOuld love any help the rest of you can give.
