Pacific NW Poultry Association Awarded the American Bantam Association Semi-Annual Meet
Stevenson, WA, April 18-19, 2009. This nationally sanctioned meet is
expected to draw purebred poultry exhibitors from all corners of the United
States and Canada. The last time the Pacific NW Poultry Association hosted
a breeder’s meet of this magnitude was in 1991 when we hosted the
combined American Poultry Association and American Bantam Association
national meets.
This event will be held at Skamania County Fairgrounds across the Bridge
of the Gods from Cascade Locks and just minutes from Portland. This will
be a world-class display of purebred chickens and waterfowl in all colors,
shapes and sizes. For breeders, a win at this show is held in the highest
esteem.
There is a separate youth show, with breed classes, showmanship, and a
knowledge bowl. Birds and educational materials will be available for
sale.

ABOUT: The Pacific Northwest Poultry Association was originally established as
the Northwest Bantam Club in 1945. It is a non-profit organization
dedicated to the enhancement of purebred poultry through educational
programs, knowledge sharing and public outreach. The PNPA sponsors two
breeder’s meets each year at the Skamania County Fairgrounds.
