Help! Trying to rehab lame chicken

Hello everyone, You all seem very knowledable and caring so I hope you can help me help this little red hen.

I live in the city. About a year ago this beautiful big white rooster showed up. No one knew who he belonged to or where he came from. One neighbor wanted to keep him in his yard but the rooster eluded capture. It was found he roosted in an evergreen tree across the street and several of the neighbors were feeding him, including me. He survived a very cold and snowy winter here and everyone is very impressed with him.

My neighbor who wanted to keep him decided if he bought some chickens that would attract the rooster and we also could all have eggs. So early March, he bought 6 little chicks. When the weather became warm enough, he turned them loose in his yard. Well, these little hens could get through his fence and they run all over the place! Now no one minds. They are as cute as they can be. Oh, no,I'm out of room.
