My Girl's Eglu

The Eglu has been called a "I-pod for chickens". It has room for 2 to 4 birds, depending on size, and roosting area and a nest box inside. Since I took this photo, I also got a larger shade that protects them from the elements. This is a combination of coop and tractor, as it can be moved anywhere on the lawn.

Is it sturdy enough to resist predators? Thanks!

I really like the design of the eglu. It's a great insta-coop that I've heard only good things about.

Hi, I have an Eglu, and they do everything they say they do, extremely hygenic and easy to clean. They have an air space between the layers of steel on the house and so are self insulating (like double glazing). I believe they are now available in the U.S. there are quite a number of accessories you can purchase for the Eglu from Omlet. Kind regards to all, Mick Sussex England
