Roosters That Just Keep on Crowing

Mark found a really great post over on BoingBoing about roosters that have unusually long crows. The video post is short and worth watching. Follow this link.

Does anyone out there have one of these long crowing breeds? They are pretty unique.

Re: Roosters That Just Keep on Crowing

When I purchased my chickens at 8 weeks old I had (4) pullets and (1) rooster. The Cinnamon Queens are a cross link breed. The Hens are always buff (they look a lot like a Rhode Island Red, except for some scattered gold, and white in their tail Feathers. The Roosters are always white with some gold colored feathers on their neck.
When I got the chickens, the rooster was trying to learn how to crow and it sounded amusing. By the time he was 16 weeks old He was crowing constantly and, with a distinctive long crow, that started to irritate the neighbors so I gave him away to another Chicken raiser, who had more land and less neighbors
