Another successful chicken keeping class

The last chicken keeping class of the season was a major success, with over 30 people in attendance! A special thanks to the Harwood Art Center for giving me the opportunity to teach at the Wells Park/Sawmill Community Garden. This was a wonderful class! The crowd was so into learning about chickens and asking questions that the hour long class lasted almost 2 hours!

Since this class was not at my house, I had to transport a chicken there, as well as some props and other supplies. Gloria- my favorite hen- did so well traveling in the car, and she loved being in the community garden (although she did try to eat people's crops).

A special thanks also to Gary and Sue of The Green Egg, for bringing a portable chicken tractor to show to the crowd.
